How do I set the unique password?

If you do not have the card enrolled in 3D Secure BT Pay, in the first online payment you make in January 2021 and which requires confirmation, after you click the button „Pay”, verrai indirizzato a una pagina dove ti verrà richiesta la password ricevuta tramite SMS, che riceverai sul numero di telefono presente nel sistema della banca come sempre. 😊

After pressing the button „Confirm” you will be directed to the page where you need to enter the unique password.

Password can be set by accessing the option „Set the password”. You have 2 options to set it:

❶⠀E-mail: enter the e-mail address and you will receive a code which you enter on the setup page;

❷⠀By entering a secret for setting the password (e.g., mother's maiden name).

Subsequently you can set your password. It must contain at least 8 characters, a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, and at least one special character or a digit.

You have 5 minutes available to set the password and confirm the online payment. After setting the password, return to the payment page and re-enter it.

If you want to confirm online payments more easily and faster, it is good to know that authorizing online transactions through BT Pay is safe and very convenient.

Payment confirmation can be done directly from the app with fingerprint, FaceID or the phone unlocking method. When you pay online, you instantly receive a notification on your phone and confirm the transaction in a second. That way you forget about passwords! 🤩
