How do I confirm online payments through BT Pay?

Following an online transaction on a 3D Secure secured site you will be asked to confirm the respective payment. Therefore, you will receive a notification on your phone, upon accessing which you will see the transaction details:

➤⠀the card from which the transaction was initiated;

➤⠀merchant's name;

➤⠀sum.

You will be able to confirm the transaction using the phone unlocking method. But don't forget, you have ⏳ 5 minutes to confirm or decline the transaction. Afterwards, you will need to return to the merchant's website to complete the order. 😊

Important to know & apply:

❗ The confirmation of the transaction did not mean its completion. To ensure the payment is completed, you will return to the merchant's page to see the transaction status.

❗ Make sure you have General type notifications activated. You can check from the menu "Notifications" ➭ "Notification settings". If you have enrolled the card in multiple applications, you will receive a notification on each device.

❗ Enrolling the card in the 3D Secure system BT Pay implies confirming online transactions only with the application. Therefore, you will no longer receive SMS OTP for validating these types of transactions. And don't forget, you need to have Internet access.
