What kinds of housing can be bought through the New Home program?
There are several scenarios in which you may find yourself, as follows:
➤⠀If the dwelling was completed more than five years from the date of the application, then the maximum loan amount you can obtain is 66,500 euros equivalent in lei, and the minimum down payment you must make is 5% of the purchase price of the dwelling.
➤⠀If the dwelling is new, meaning it was completed less than five years before the application date, and the purchase price does not exceed 70,000 euros, then the maximum loan amount you can obtain is 66,500 euros equivalent in lei. The minimum down payment you need to make is 5% of the purchase price of the dwelling.
➤⠀If the housing is new, and the purchase price is more than 70,001 euros, then the maximum loan amount you can obtain is 119,000 euros in lei equivalent. The minimum down payment you must make is 15% of the purchase price of the housing.
