What is GDPR?
The term GDPR is actually the abbreviation of „Regolamento generale sulla protezione dei dati” or in other words: The general regulation on data protection. 🤓
GDPR contains a set of rules which provides European citizens with more control over the data that can be used to identify a person and, at the same time, clearly regulates how personal data is processed.
According to the law, GDPR is Regulation no. 679 of April 27, 2016, and refers to the protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data, as well as the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95 / 46 / EC.
GDRP was published in the Official Journal of the European Union L119 / 4 May 2016, entered into force on 25 May 2016 and is applicable from 25 May 2018 throughout the entire European Union.
