I have to receive an amount of money in euros on the card, the card is in RON, how long can I withdraw the amount?
In order to make a transfer in a currency other than RON, you must have opened a current account at our place in the respective currency, that is euro. 💶
In case you give to the one who transfers the money the IBAN code related to a cont in another currency (for example RON), the transferred amount will not be received by that account since we do not automatically perform currency conversion, but we credit the account for the currency in which we receive the amount.
In order not to refuse the transfer at the moment of receiving the money, we open a current account in the respective currency for you, the condition being that the transfer details are correct. 🙂
The good part is that later, we do not charge you a commission for account management or for foreign currency collections.
You should also know that a transfer from abroad takes, on average, between 3 and 5 working days. However, the duration can be even shorter than that.
Depends on the type of transfer! 😊

Where do you find Western Union transactions in BT24 Internet Banking?
➤⠀in BT24 Internet Banking (menu Trasferimento” ➭submenu„Western Union”);
Good to know:
Transactions carried out on the territory of Romania will be paid in the same currency in which they were sent. 💱
In the case of online transactions (BT24 Internet Banking) from abroad to Romania, your account is credited with the expected amount in the account currency. If the amount you receive is in a different currency, the amount will be converted into the account currency at the exchange rate set by Western Union. 🤔
By means of a BT card you can hold 2 or more accounts in different currencies, the account being attached to the RON currency. However, transfers / currency exchanges between accounts are possible through the BT24 Internet Banking application.
