How do I send money through the BT Pay app?

You can transfer money through BT Pay to another BT individual client by following these steps:

  1. You choose "Transfer Money" from the app;
  2. Select the person to whom you want to send money, from your phonebook;
  3. Enter the amount of money to send and the transaction details;
  4. You give your consent and confirm the operation and the commission;

You enter the app PIN or confirm with your phone's biometrics and that's it! If you want to find out how you can send money to a non-BT client individual, also see "How do I transfer money to an IBAN account through BT Pay?". I explained the steps to you there as well. 😊

➤⠀If the beneficiary also uses BT Pay (the application being installed on the device with the phone number to which the SMS was received), they will open the transfer in the app menu. The user can view the transaction details directly on the dedicated screen;

➤⠀If the beneficiary does not use BT Pay (and therefore the app is not installed on the phone), the link received via SMS directs them to Google Play, App Store, or Huawei AppGallery, where they can download the app.Once the app is installed and the user registered/cards enrolled, accessing the link will open the transfer operation and the beneficiary will see the transaction details.

The beneficiary can:

➤⠀To accept the operation, in which case the bank transaction (collection) is made. In this case, the user will choose the card on which they want to collect the amount of money;

➤⠀Let the transfer expire.Initiator:As the initiator of the operation (payer) you will be notified by a notification received on the phone from which you initiated the operation

➤⠀In case the beneficiary does not successfully install the application or is not a BT client (who can benefit and use BT Pay), the payment operation is not honored, the transfer expiring in 48h, at which time the money is returned to your account;

➤⠀In case you want to cancel the transaction, you can do this before the beneficiary of the transaction accepts it.
