How can I modify my card's transaction limits?

Each card issued by us has a preset transaction limit depending on the type of transaction, both in value and in the daily number of transactions that can be made. 🤓


You can set daily trading limits on your card and/or on the designated holders' cards, for: cash withdrawals, POS transactions, or online transactions, respecting the maximum limits established by the bank.

This is how you can change these limits for free: 😉


❶⠀Through the BT Pay application:
➭ open the application and select the card for which you want to modify the limits by pressing on it;
➭ access the settings menu in the bottom-right part of the screen by pressing the ⚙ Card settings symbol;
➭ choose the option "Card limits";
➭ at the first use of the limit change option, you validate access to the limit change through an OTP code received via SMS
➭ modify the limit and authorize the modification with the application PIN or through biometrics



❷⠀Through BT Visual Help:
➭ call the number 0264 308 000:
➭ you access the link received by SMS;
➭ and from the main menu select "Cards" -> "Modify card limit";
➭ select the card on which you want to change the limit and modify the amounts and the period.



❸⠀Through the BT24 Internet Banking platform:
➭ you log into the account and choose the "Cards" option from the menu at the top of the screen;
➭ opt for the "Card View" option;
➭ select the card for which you want to change the limits by pressing the symbol 👁‍🗨;
➭ activate limit changes by pressing the symbol 🔧 next to the transaction type.


❹⠀Through the BT24 Mobile Banking app:
➭ access the "Finance" option at the bottom of the screen;
➭ select "My Cards" from the newly opened menu;
➭ choose the card for which you want to modify the transaction limits;
➭ you press "Modify card limits". But you have the possibility to set daily transaction limits, on your own 💳 card or on those issued in the name of users, for: cash withdrawals, POS transactions, or internet transactions, respecting the maximum limits established by the bank.
