What happens to my account if I don't use it for a while?

If there is no activity on the account for 12 months, Banca Transilvania may resort to closing the account, but this does not happen automatically after this period. Before closing the account, the bank will notify you, and if no response is received or no activity is recorded on the account, it will be closed.

Important to know: If there is money in your account at the time of closure due to inactivity, the amount will be transferred to a collector account. This money can be physically withdrawn from a BT branch based on an ID card or through a notarial power of attorney if you have authorized someone to withdraw it on your behalf.
