What happens when I have the amount blocked on the Direct card?

The amount blocked on the card is a reserved amount, which is going to be paid from your BT Direct account for various operations.
The settlement term for transactions made at other banks' terminals is a maximum of 30 days. That is, within this period, the transaction will be settled automatically and will disappear from the "Blocked amount" section, being effectively debited from the account. 🙂
The blocked amounts may come from several sources:
➤⠀installment payments made with the credit card, where the amount decreases monthly, as the installments are paid off;
➤⠀card transactions carried out at terminals of other banks, whether it is an ATM transaction, a payment at the merchant's POS or on the Internet.
The blocked amounts from card transactions are the amounts reserved when you make a transaction at another bank's terminal, whether it is an ATM transaction, a payment at the merchant's POS, or on the Internet. 🌐
The blocking of the amount represents the guarantee that the respective bank will receive the money you have withdrawn, respectively that a merchant will receive the money for the goods / services provided.
