What does "SEPA" (Single Euro Payments Area | Single Euro Payments Area)?

A payment SEPAit is that payment which meets the following conditions:

➤⠀is realized in EURO;

➤⠀is in regime „normale” (so no emergency);

➤⠀and has a beneficiary bank a bank from the SEPA area (the member states of the European Union).


Any payment meeting these conditions will be settled through a special system, without going through correspondent banks.👍
