Why are the amounts exempted by law from debt payment being blocked for me?

The process of blocking the amounts is automatic, based on an official notification received by the bank from a seizing institution. The good news is that these excepted amounts can be unlocked by BT Visual Help:

➤ call the number 0264 308 000;

➤ you access the link received via SMS and, from the main menu, select the "Garnishments" section;

➤ select the garnishment and request the unblocking of the amount;
