How will I receive my salary, allowance, pension, or any other income transferred based on an agreement? Will Banca Transilvania contact the institutions that transfer these amounts and inform them about the new IBANs in a centralized manner?

You are an employee/beneficiary and you receive your salary/benefits into an account at OTP Bank based on an agreement between your employer/payer and OTP Bank? Banca Transilvania will contact your employer to communicate the BTRL IBAN of the account taken over from OTP Bank so that from March 2025, the employer will transfer your financial rights to the BTRL IBAN. Of course, you can always directly communicate your BT account IBAN to your employer to personally ensure that they have recorded it in their records, but this will be usable only from March 1, 2025 (meaning you will be able to receive money into it). If, on the other hand, the payer is a budget institution (e.g., AJPIS, CNPAS): Banca Transilvania will provide them with the necessary data to continue payments without interruption, from March 2025. Nevertheless, we recommend that you personally communicate your BTRL IBAN to the institution to which they should make payments from March 2025 so that you validate the bank's notification and ensure continuity of collections.
