What should I do if my child has changed their phone number?

To start, you need to update the phone number in the bank's system together with the child. You can do it either online, or you can come to a BT unit, and our colleagues will help you.

Then, in the app, you have to:

  • you press the "BT Pay Kiddo" button and choose the child for whom you make the change
  • you access the option "change the phone number" and fill in the new number

The only thing left for the child to do is to reinstall BT Pay on the phone. 😊

For children between 8-18 years old without a bank account, who have the Kiddo card attached to a subaccount of the parent, you need to contact us at the call center at *8028 or present yourself at any BT unit to deactivate the agreement given on the old phone number and then give the Kiddo agreement again on the new phone number.
