What happens to my deposits if I have a garnishment?

You must know that the amounts in bank deposits are subject to garnishment.

Thus, in case you do not have sufficient sums in the current accounts for the garnishment payment, the bank is legally obliged to close the deposit(s) and pay the garnishment amount to the bailiff.

Payment of the attachment from term bank deposits will be made at the first maturity of the deposit.

In order to avoid the cancellation of the warehouse(s) upon reaching the deadline provided by law for the payment of the garnishment, please make sure that there are sufficient funds in the current accounts for making the payment or, if you have already paid this garnishment, please immediately provide the bank with the proof of payment or the stop order.

In the situation where, for the payment of the garnishment, the bank is forced to close the deposit(s), the bank will reconstitute the deposit under the same conditions on the amounts remaining in the account after the payment of the garnishment. If the deposit cannot be reconstituted under the same conditions, we inform you that you have the possibility to constitute another type of deposit from the bank's offer.
