What can I do to avoid becoming a victim of a phishing attack?

If you accessed a suspicious link received by email and entered your login data into the BT24 application, please contact us as soon as possible at 0264 308 028* to temporarily disable the service of BT24 Internet Banking and to verify the transactions made on the account.

If you cannot contact us by phone, please come to the nearest BT unit.

For your online safety, we recommend the following:

➤ do not access links in unsolicited emails or sent by unknown persons, especially those that appear to be sent on our behalf;

➤ do not access and do not download attached files received in such e-mails;

➤ access BT24 Internet Banking only from our website address;

➤ check in the address bar within the browser if the existing address is that of our Internet Banking service;

➤ check that you have an encrypted connection (HTTPS) with the site Internet Banking BT24 and that the holder of the digital certificate related to it is BT;

➤ make sure you have anti-virus and anti-spyware solutions installed, and that they are regularly updated;

➤ do not save the authentication elements in the Internet Banking application in the computer's memory;

➤ set a high complexity password (to contain lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters) and change it periodically.
