What do I do if I lost my phone on which I have Google Pay?

To use Google Pay, each transaction needs to be authorized via Face ID, Touch ID, or password.

This functionality prevents the possibility of persons other than the user from using Google Pay. 👍

In case of loss / theft of an Android device with 💳 BT cards set in Google Pay, you can lock it and delete the data from the device. 🔒 You need to access your Google account and use the function „Trova il mio dispositivo” for blocking the lost device and/or erasing the device data.

The card or cards will be suspended or deleted from Google Pay, even if the device is offline or not connected to a mobile phone network or a Wi-Fi network.

Also, you can call the card issuing bank in case of loss / theft of the device, to suspend or delete the cards from Google Pay. 🙂
