What is the optional pension?

Voluntary pension, also known as Pillar III, is a pension fund with optional contribution, it is added to the state pension (Pillar I) and the mandatory private pension (Pillar II), if applicable.

The minimum amount you can deposit is 60 lei/month and it must not exceed 15% of your gross monthly income
Your contributions are tax deductible up to 400 euros per year
You have the possibility to have an additional income at retirement
