What is a garnishment?

It is an amount owed – not the bank's, as it is believed – ie, for example, to ANAF (National Agency for Fiscal Administration), to DITL (Department of Taxes and Local Levies) or to a bailiff.

It can be the forgotten payment of a tax – as an individual or a company. Because, isn't it true, we are all in debt with a tax at some point 😊

And yes, it happens that we fall behind with payment, for various reasons, even though paying taxes and fees can be done very easily, online, with a card. And unfortunately, freezing the amounts in accounts means that you can no longer withdraw money from branches or ATMs and you can no longer make transfers or payments. 😞
