What is the „International Routing Code” and when is it used?
It is a code of correspondent banks from the USA, very similar to the international system SWIFT, which allows financial institutions to send and receive information about transactions securely and in a standardized format. 👍
This code is useful at the moment when you make a money transfer from the USA. ÎEvery second a large number of withdrawals and deposits are made.
Most people regularly use some form of electronic funds transfer for payments addebito diretto or automatic deposits of a payment check for example. 🌐
Without the code „Routing Internazionale”, the process of transferring money for individuals and legal entities would be a very slow and inefficient one.
Practically, this provides an electronic address for the bank to which the transfer is made. 😉
