The debit card represents a payment instrument, attached to the current account, that gives you access to the money deposited in your account or to a line of credit that the bank grants you on the current account called overdraft (account overdraft).
How does the debit card work?
BT debit cards work both domestically and abroad. You can use them to withdraw cash from ATMs and make payments to merchants or online. If the payment is in a currency other than the account currency to which the card is attached, the currency conversion is done automatically.
Can the debit card be used for online shopping?
Of course! With the debit card, you can pay, in complete safety and without any commission, for the products and services offered by merchants both physically through POS payment and online.
To which account is the debit card linked?
The debit card is attached to a current account or, in the case of legal entities, it can also be attached to a card account. The debit card in RON is attached to an account in RON, and the debit card in EUR is attached to the account in EUR.
It is important to know also that: If you make payments in other currencies, the currency conversion is done automatically.
