What is the maximum amount that can be withdrawn per day from BT ATMs and what is the maximum amount that can be withdrawn in a single transaction?

If you use a card Visa Classic or MasterCard Mondo, the maximum withdrawal limit is 5,000 RON / day, with the possibility of an increase to 9,000 RON / day. 😃

You can change the trading limit very easily:

❶⠀Through the application BT Pay: 

➭ you open the application and select the card for which you want to make the change;

➭ press the button „Settings” (it is in the top right corner ⚙) and access the option „Limits for card transactions”;

➭ here you select the limit, modify it, and confirm.

❷⠀Through the application BT24 Mobile Banking:

➭ you log into the application with your data and go to the menu „Finance”;

➭ in the submenu „Cards” you will have to select the card for which you want to make the change;

➭ then, you will have the option „See also modify limits”. You can select the current limits of the card and modify them.

❸⠀With the help of the application BT24 Internet Banking: 

➭you log into the application with your data and go to the menu „Cards”;

➭ in the submenu „Card view” you will need to go to the card for which you want to make the change;

➭ then, you have to click in the column „Details” on the first option (entitled „View & edit limit”). By the option in the column „Details” you can modify your card limits.

❹⠀In any of BT units.

❗⠀The new limits set from the applications are valid for 90 days. After this period, the limits will revert to the initial values and can be set again.

Good to know:

If you made payments at the POS on that day, you can only withdraw from the ATM the difference up to 9,000 RON. 🤑

We recommend that you withdraw around 3,000 RON in a single transaction.

It is important to know that it is not possible to withdraw money in foreign currency (euros, dollars, etc.) from ATMs available in the country. This is only possible at BT units where we are waiting for you! 🤗
