Why do I have interest on the BT Direct account statement if I have installments without interest?

There are 2 cases in which you find interest payable on the account statement:

  • Check if you have paid the full amount of last month's statement. If you have not paid in full, interest will appear on the next statement
  • If you withdrew cash from an ATM or made Quasi Cash transactions, interest will appear on the next account statement, as interest is charged from the day the transaction is made.
