How do I activate the Direct card for online payments?

Go to BT Pay, on the home page go to "More" - "Card Settings" and "Approve online payments" and that's it, once the option is chosen the card can be used for online payments.

From now on, you will receive notifications directly in the app for the approval or rejection of any online transaction.

Don't have BT Pay installed yet? Log inaici, click the “Open Account” button and install the app.

However, there is also the option where, after choosing the product/service you want to pay for, you have to enter the card details when making the online payment:

• card number;
• expiry date;
• CVV2 / CVC2 code.

Additionally, at merchants displaying the “Verified by Visa” and “MasterCard ID Check” logos, an extra page will appear asking you to enter a password:

• The ID Check password has been replaced with a dynamic password (OTP-one time password), unique for each online transaction, which you will receive via SMS;
• The payment will be completed quickly after the password is verified.
