What do I need to know about payments from outside the European Economic Area?

Authorization of payments through SCA (Strong Customer Authentication) does not apply to payments made on merchants' websites outside Europe.


We recommend that you follow best practices when paying online:

➤⠀buy from websites you trust and that are secure (have "https" in the URL/ link);

➤⠀do not respond to requests received via e-mail / phone / social networks where card details are requested or you are directed to access suspicious websites;

➤⠀beware of websites with "unbeatable" offers, they are often deceptive etc.
