How do I pay for a purchase in installments?

Any purchase over 500 lei can be split into installments through the BT Direct - Install Anywhere program.

After you make a full payment with your BT Direct card, we send you an SMS informing you that you can turn the paid amount into:

• 3 Interest-Free Installments
• 4–36 Easy Installments, with an interest rate of 1.25% per month

You have 3 days from receiving the SMS to decide whether you want to convert the transaction into installments and to reply to the message received.

In the following account statement you will find:

• cancellation of the full payment transaction
• display of the first installment from the purchase made

Representative calculation example – Installments without Interest:

The APR is 2.71% for a loan of 10,000 RON over a 12-month period, related to a transaction in 12 Installments without Interest, considering the card issuance fee of 50 RON, the monthly administration fee of 8 RON, with the total loan amount being 10,146 RON.

Representative calculation example – Installments with 1.25% monthly interest:

EAR is 19% for a loan amount of 10,000 RON over 12 months, related to a transaction paid in 12 Installments with a monthly Interest Rate of 1.25%, taking into account the card issuance fee of 50 RON and the monthly administration fee of 8 RON, with the total loan amount being 10,977 RON.
