What does "unsettled transactions" mean on the account statement?

The amount related to a payment with the card to a merchant in the country or abroad may remain in the stage of blocked amounts or pending transactions for a maximum period of 20 days. 📆

In case the transaction is not requested for settlement by the merchant within the legal term, the card issuing bank 💳 will make available to the client the amounts that have been blocked on cont in favor of the merchant in question. 👍
